Karate

Karate is a weapon less means of self-defence and is a Japanese martial art whose physical aspects seek the development of defensive and counterattacking body movements Karate is one of the most dynamic of all the martial arts. Karate has grown from strength to strength is a comb sport of spectacle of accuracy and speed,karate is practiced as an art, as a sport,as a combat sport,or as self-defence training.

The sport of Karate is very popular among the youth, and it is gender sensitive as it caters for all sexes, age groups, races, cultural and any other denomination, Karate is incorporated into a proper attitude such as of perseverance, fearlessness, virtue, and leadership skills.

Venue: Competition will take place at the  Boipuso Hall where 54 African countries will be competing for a single Gold medal will be up for grabs amongst the 12 competing nations.
